Dan Smith is the author of three books, including the #1 Best Seller "Failing Greatly, Your Guide to Achieving Success after Failure", which reveals the experiences while on his odyssey from failure to success and balance. Complete with intimate details of some of his worst days, including bankruptcy and near homelessness, Dan shares how he bounced back and found success and balance in both life and business and how others can do the same.

His second book, "Power Planner, Your Daily Blueprint to a Productive and Profitable Life", was originally designed by Dan as a PDF for his personal use to be more organized and productive on a daily basis. Now printed in book form, he still uses it daily and has shared it for anyone to use who wishes to duplicate his process.

The third book Dan published in 2017, "Daily Victory Log, A Day-by-Day Roadmap to a Successful and Balanced Life", was a five-year project. The Victory Log process, detailed in his first book, "Failing Greatly", has been reviewed as "one of the most unique and powerful daily journaling ideas to be implemented in over a decade".

Dan was a top producing real estate agent in the resort market of Big Bear Lake, California. In his last five years as a Realtor, before selling his business, he averaged over 200 sales per year. In his final year of selling real estate full-time he closed 321 transactions and was listed in The Wall Street Journal as the #9 agent in the United States. 

In 2011 Dan came out of retirement and began to train and strategize with executives, corporations and salespersons. He has spoken throughout the world and shared his skills, methods and ideas with over 1,000 audiences, helping countless professionals to become more powerful, productive, and profitable. His focus is two-fold; to help them achieve more success and to have more balance in their lives.

In the real estate industry, in addition to training Realtors for most of the major real estate franchises in the U.S., over the ensuing years Dan has also worked with individual Broker/Owners, Loan Officers, Title Representatives and other affiliated services.

Beyond real estate, Dan has helped dozens of corporations and organizations including Nissan Motor Company, Marriott Vacation Club, Kee Action Sports and the University of Redlands.

He has also delivered countless keynote speeches around the world including The World Real Estate Congress in Dubai in 2018.
